CALICO is coming to BELLURIA Takasaki…!
It's almost the season for cold winds.
Khamir of Kutch made a local sheep wool shawl in collaboration with local weavers, and had it dyed with winter colors of Ajrak at Sufiyan Ismail Khatri's workshop.
As expected, Ajurac goes well with ingredients that have an earthy smell.
From November 11th to 27th, we will be holding a special exhibition at BELLURIA near Takasaki Station and at BELLURIA Annex Himihimi in Kiryu.
If you are in the area, please stop by.

Based on respect for the traditional techniques and costumes that live on in various parts of India, we create textile products that suit modern life.
CALICO by Fumie Kobayashi, who develops continuous production
By reinterpreting flat structures and combining them with the inherent functionality of natural materials, we aim to create clothing that will last for a long time and not be bound by the passing trends of the times.
