As the hot summer came to an end and we began to feel the change of seasons, we received new clothes and accessories perfect for autumn outfits.

From India, far to the west, we have the standard items that we offer at Tekla, as well as hand-woven sheep wool coats and pants, new tops, short jackets, vests, and more.
Bandhani and Ajurak works were also presented with expressive expressions.

We also had a lot of smiles from the people who brought us smiles at the Spring/Summer Exhibition we held in June.
Kawa Hatsumasa of "Kainowa" also delivers exciting accessories such as rings, earrings, and necklaces made from materials such as luminous shells.

I am very happy and excited to be able to introduce this to you while thinking of the beautiful oceans of India and Okinawa that I was able to visit this year.

These are precious and beloved items that are indispensable in my daily life.
I would be happy if I could share this joy with as many people as possible 😊

[CALICO: the ART of INDIAN VILLAGE FABRICS]

[CALICO]
Together with artisans, production groups, and designers,
Fabrics such as Khadi (hand-spun and hand-woven cotton fabric) from the Indian subcontinent, Jamdani weaving, hand embroidery, and traditional dyeing.
Also, design activities aimed at making materials such as native cotton into a new standard.
It has been a long time since we lost the joy of touch in our daily lives.
Recovering the rich culture of fabrics and clothing,
It is also the name of a prayer to create a new world of textiles that will connect to the future.

[MAKU Textiles]

[ Designer Santanu Das's thoughts and worldview ]
Traditional Indian weaving and stitching
By refining the dyeing technique,
We want to preserve the traditions of Indian handmade textiles and the livelihoods of artisans.
MAKU does not just make and sell clothes.
Through these activities, we spread a beautiful world.

Clothing to offer a woman's beauty to God.

【Kainowa】

[Ornaments made from luminous shells and takasegai shells, Hamahiga Island, Okinawa]
There is something that shells have taught me as I have been working on manufacturing.
It means not resisting the flow of nature, but surrendering yourself to it.

Be honest with yourself.
Moving forward in the direction your mind and body desire.

In the calm sea,
A place where shells feel comfortable and nurture their natural beauty.
Because it brings out a person's individuality.

And so we arrived at Kainowa, Hamahiga Island.

Something that connects people with each other, and people with nature.

Through the Kainowa
People and nature meet,
I hope this will be an opportunity to connect.
