Travel Report 2022

7.1 Friday - 11 Monday

Fabric travels through time and space, transmitting its message to those who made it and to be remembered as the living form of those who wear it.

Fabric is a mirror that reflects our imagination. Wearing handmade fabric allows us to continue our journey.

This year too, Kyarico and the Bengali brand "MAkU TEXTILE" will be bringing the winds of modern India to Nagasaki.

India is the country where 95% of the world's handmade textiles are produced, and as you know, the handmade work of our ancestors can still be seen in our traditional costumes and fabrics used in daily life.

This year, List: will receive many items from Fumie Kobayashi of Carico, who has traveled to villages around the country and transformed handmade fabrics that have been made by people for generations into exciting clothing and fabrics for everyday life. Please take your time to enjoy the world of Indian handmade fabrics.
