A native wool shawl made by Vankar Shamji Vishram, a weaver from Kutch.
The rustic material is lightweight yet has excellent heat retention.

It has a simple yet profound flavor, as if it were wrapped in the bounty of nature.

The work of a community of weavers called Vankar is to spin and weave the wool from the sheep raised by the Labarri people.

In 2017, we first commissioned Vankar Shamji Vishram, who develops new materials and dyed fabrics in addition to traditional weaving work, to make wool fabric suitable for coats.
Since then, we have continued to improve the thread by twisting it further and increasing the density, until it can withstand sewing.

Enjoy the old and new continental fabrics created in collaboration with the Vankars of Kutch.

*Since undyed sheep wool is used, there will be considerable individual differences in color.
Please note that threads other than NR are also mixed in.

* Hand-spun yarn is mainly made by women in the village using an efficient modern spinning wheel called an “Amber Charka.” When the yarn breaks, it is spun by hand, resulting in neps, which is a characteristic feature.

* Most of hand-spun and handwoven fabrics are produced in village huts, and as a result, threads or grass may occasionally be mixed in. Additionally, there may be uneven areas, wrinkles, or slight discoloration caused by thread breaks, as well as unavoidable minor stains. Please understand that these are characteristic features of those fabrics.

* Depending on the material, friction during use may cause pilling or fuzziness. Excessive friction or pressure can cause a fabric damage, so please avoid such a situation.

* This product is recommended for dry cleaning. Please consult with a cleaning store.
