Handwoven Eri silk is hand-spun from Eri cocoons, a type of wild silkworm, harvested in the northern Indian state of Assam, and woven on looms in villages in northern Bengal.
It has a slightly slimy, warm texture and a rustic feel that makes it suitable for everyday use.
