Light Khadi Block Print Rajasthani Dress
Product Description
Rajasthani style cache-coeur dress.
Inspired by the Jali (openwork windows that let in light through gaps in the pattern) commonly seen in Mughal-era architecture, this piece features CALICO's white geometric pattern series, which they began planning and producing in 2015.
The dye is a lime-based chemical dye. The printed parts have a slightly hard texture, which is a new feature.
Of all the block prints that CALICO produces, this is the only one that is made in the suburbs of Delhi. When you wear clothes with this print outdoors, the pattern shows through like a see-through window, making it very beautiful.
You can tie the strings and wear it as a dress, or leave it open and wear it as a wrap.
The knot position of the string on the front can be adjusted, making it easier to put on.
The back of the dress is decorated with pin tucks, making it look distinctive from behind.

Before you purchase
* This product is also sold in stores, so it may be sold out at the time of your order. If the product is out of stock after you place your order, we will contact you.
* Hand-spun yarn is mainly produced by village women using a modern and highly efficient spinning wheel called an amvirtualka. If the yarn breaks, it will have knots as it has to be spun by hand.
* Most hand-woven and hand-spun fabrics are made in village huts, and depending on the environment, threads and grass may be mixed in. There may also be uneven areas, twists, smudges caused by skipped threads, and unavoidable stains. Please understand that these are characteristics of Indian fabrics before purchasing.
* Depending on the material, friction when worn may cause shrinkage or pilling. Please avoid excessive friction or pressure as it may cause damage to the fabric.
* We recommend washing at home in cold water with a mild detergent and drying in the shade. If using a washing machine, use a laundry net.
