*The hand-spun yarn is primarily made by village women using a modern and efficient spinning wheel called an “Ambar Charkha.” When the yarn breaks, it is rejoined by hand, which creates characteristic slubs (uneven spots) in the yarn.

*Much of the handwoven and hand-spun fabric is made in village workshops, and due to the nature of the environment, threads or bits of grass may be mixed into the fabric. In addition, you may find uneven areas, twists, skips in the weave, or minor unavoidable stains. Please understand these as unique features of Indian textiles.

*Depending on the material, friction during wear may cause snags or pilling. Please avoid excessive friction or pressure, as it may damage the fabric.

 *For care, we recommend gently hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent and drying in the shade. If using a washing machine, please place the item in a laundry net.
