CALICO was founded in 2012 in a small room called an atelier in Safdarjung Enclave, South Delhi.
The studio moved to Defence Colony in 2014 and served as the base of operations for the company's activities in India until 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic began.
And in 2024, we will return to Safdarjung Enclave, this time next to Saraswati Music College.
The room I rented on the 4th floor was rundown at first. I cleaned it up nicely and the landlord asked me to give it back, so now I'm on the 2nd floor of the same building (1st floor in India).
We hold open atelier sessions there on an irregular basis.
