maku + CALICO: the ART of INDIAN VILLAGE FABRICS The World of Indian Handmade Fabrics 2023 Summer at Manrin Bookstore/Kuranouchi Gallery (Aichi)

This summer, Maku + CALICO: the ART of INDIAN VILLAGE FABRICS will be held at the storehouse gallery run by Asuke Manrin Bookstore.
The World of Indian Handmade Fabrics will be held in the summer of 2023.

This year, we will be joined by Kobayashi, the representative of Kiriko, to hold our first talk event.

The photo shows AMCO, a maku staple.
This cool crepe fabric is a popular style. This year, it comes in sand dune colors to match the "Solaris" collection.

The talk will focus on reports from villages in Bengal, and will also include a message from Santanu Das of maku, who visited Japan in April.

For more information, please see the information provided by the Kuranouchi Gallery.
